We are having a busy run up to Christmas at Vamos Paella, including cooking a great selection of tapas and paellas at a party last night. Tapas included our delicious homemade chorizo jam, perfect to go with goats’ cheese on crostini. The mini chorizo cocktail sausages were as popular as ever and were especially good on a winter’s night.
Another classic, pimientos del padron – padron peppers – are not for the feint hearted. The saying goes that ‘unos pican, unos no’, which means that some are fiery hot, others not. So just when you’ve been lulled into a false sense of security, your mouth is on fire!
We are also helping clients plan ahead with their weddings and parties for next year; our tasting evenings are proving a popular way to try out our paellas and tapas before deciding. We always think it’s a great idea to come and try our food and talk through your event in a relaxed setting with a glass of wine.
